Cattle Feed Initiative
Banas Dairy is also operating Asia’s largest cattle feed plant, which provides healthy and nutritious food to the cattle that has resulted in improving the milk quality. This plant produces 1500 metric ton cattle feed daily and ensures its delivery to all the farmers associated with the Dairy.

2,400 kW capacity solar power plant operational in the total area of Banas Dairy plant Actively supporting Government of India’s ‘Make In India’ programme by using solar panels manufactured in India Daily approx. Rs. 1,00,000 and more valued electricity is received from unconventional source of energy
BANAS MEDICAL COLLEGE
Medical Council of India (MCI) has given approval to the Galbabhai Nanjibhai Patel Charitable Trust operated Banas Medical College. This approval of a medical college will wipe the blot of Banaskantha District lacking behind in the education field more than 70 years after Independence. Banas Medical College will also give the District a 700-bed hospital equipped with modern facilities.
WASTE WATER GENERATED FROM THE CLEANING OF VARIOUS PLANTS BEING TREATED AND USED IN PRODUCING BIOGAS FROM THE IN-HOUSE BIOGAS PLANTS
2,400 to 3,500 cubic meter gas produced from biogas plants helps in saving fuel costs by Rs 3 crore annually.
SUPPORT IN NATURAL DISASTERS
Banaskantha District faced its worst floods in the Year 2017-18 and Banas Dairy assisted in the flood-relief operations by providing its members an assistance of Rs 31.76 crores.
The contributors to this relief amount were, Banas Dairy, Rs 7.94 crores Federation, Rs 7.94 crores Gujarat Government, Rs 15.88 crores
