Cattle Feed Plant, Palanpur
INFRASTRUCTURE
In order to meet the nutritional requirements of dairy livestock of Banas Milk Shed Area, Banas Dairy had commissioned state-of-the-art Cattle Feed manufacturing unit at Palanpur with the rated capacity of 100 MTPD in 1969. To meet the growing nutritional (Complete Cattle Feed) demand of Milk Shed Area, the capacity of plant was increased to 300 MTPD in 1998, to 450 MTPD in 2003, to 600 MTPD in 2009 and subsequently entire plant was renovated in the year 2016.
Before 2012, this Cattle Feed Plant served entire Milk Shed Area of Banas Dairy. Since commissioning of Katarva Cattle Feed Plant, this plant is serving Danta, Amirgadh, Dantiwada, Palanpur & Vadgam Talukas of the Milk Shed.
Since last two years, both this plants are been routinely operated beyond its installed capacity in order to fulfill the daily cattle feed requirements of dairy animals of Milk Shed.
We, at both the Cattle Feed plants, are manufacturing different complete Cattle Feed variants namely Banas Gay Dan, Banas Bhens Dan, Banas Calf Starter, Banas Vikas Dan, Banas Sagarbha Dan, Banas Gay Dan (Mesh Form) for TMR, considering the nutritional requirements of different categories of dairy animals.
Also, Banas Dairy has established mineral mixture manufacturing plant of 10 MTPD capacity at Palanpur, for providing mineral mixture to the different categories of dairy animals in order to fulfill their daily mineral needs to maintain better health, reproduction and production of quality milk.
